Everybody

That is exactly what this is about. The lovely Tine and Katti founded a blogger parade. This means that quite a few blogger get together and post something in a certain time span to a certain topic. Our topic is Schnaps 😉 Everyone who doesn’t drink, children or moms to be might wanna change the page now and maybe take a look at our chicken wings 😉
We only tried making schnaps a few times before, so we’re not really too familiar with it. But if you never try you will never know, right? So we combined nectarines, orange, lemon, sugar and korn liquor into a jar and let it rest a few weeks. It is really not that complicated. It tastes great and and is super easy, just stir it once a weeks and that’s it. Don’t be afraid of new things, just try them. And I’m sure it will be great for the next party.

The best thing about such a blogparade is that you get so many recipes. You can find some of the recipes here, here, here, here and here. The next recipe will be Saschas so you find it on his blog. Most of them are only german but maybe you can still find something nice.

Preparation

  1. Cut the nectarines in slices and put them in a huge jar with a lid. Peel the orange and lemon and add the zest (without the white, bitter stuff in it). Now add the juice of both and just add the sugar and that's it.
  2. This now has to rest a few weeks and being stirred once a day. When it tastes good, just sieve it an that's it. In case the schnaps is too thick or sticky, sieve it through a Cloth.

Now enjoy your self-made Schnaps 🙂
